Bahrain Government Prayer Times API
- Purpose: Fetch accurate prayer times for Bahrain
- Data shared: None (read-only API)
OpenStreetMap
- Purpose: Display mosque locations on maps
- Data shared: Map tile requests

Google Maps (Optional)
- Purpose: Open mosque location in Google Maps app
- Data shared: Mosque coordinates when you click "Open in Google Maps"

Data Storage and Security
- Location: Your precise location is never stored or transmitted to our servers. It is only used locally on your device to calculate distances.
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Authentication: Admin passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing algorithms.
- Database: Hosted on Supabase with row-level security policies to protect data integrity.
Your Rights and Choices
Location Permissions
- You can enable/disable location access at any time in your device settings
- The app will still function without location access, but you won't see distance information
Notifications
- You can enable/disable prayer time notifications at any time in the app settings
- Notifications are processed locally on your device
Account Data (Admin Users)
- You can request deletion of your admin account by contacting us
- We will delete your account data within 30 days of your request
App Data
- You can clear all locally stored app data by uninstalling the app
- Theme and language preferences are stored only on your device
Children's Privacy
The Iqama app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Location data is only used for distance calculations and is not stored.
Data Retention
- Location Data: Not stored (processed locally only)
- User Preferences: Stored on your device until you uninstall the app
- Admin Accounts: Retained until deletion is requested
- Mosque Data: Retained to provide app functionality

The Iqama app is designed for users in Bahrain. Our servers are hosted by Supabase, which may store data in various global locations. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.
